im just a big engine sort of guy, m8 no disrespect was ment. sorry if it came accross as that.

the engine just looks small. what is it? i thought it looked like about a 1.4 tbh. but im not a dub guy im Jap an the jap engines tend to take up most of the available engine space.

ah 1.8 8v that would explain it. still think a bigger engine should be thought about with a car that clean a good little engine conversion would work a treat. Smile

a new engine would be good yeah, but thats gonna cost alot of money, money i dont have at the moment, i aint putting myself into debt for this car, so it'll slowly but surely get modded to the way i want it.

eh i want to keep it simple to start of with tbh, all i want to do to the car just now is debadge it, put thos alloys on it once i get some tires for it. and give it a straight through exhaust. and get the interior looking nice, cause its looking really dated lol. then once ive done all that i'll be looking at getting a new engine. i'll prob just get a 2ltr16v gti engine. or maybe bigger, but fuck telling my insurance company lol

the colour concept golf MK3's have proper lush interiors my mates have them. but yh the standard interiors of most cars with the exeption of the top of the line like, Typr r, Type s, Gti etc . . are pretty poor. engine conversions without tellin the insurance lol. not for me engine mods and not tellin the insurance is just jail bait but each to there own.

john 1k on insurance for me is a joke lol. at the most id spend on insurance is 1200. im not in any rush to get a engine anyway, this one will do me for ages anyway, its pretty much brand new.
i'll need to see how the money sittuation goes during the summer before i think of conversions

mate the best thing to do wae a golf is exactly wat you said, exhaust interior and slight mods. smack it on its hoop and put they very lovely euro wheels on. the only wae your gonna get it to be fast with an engine conversion is the 1.8 or 2.0 20v turbo engine which tbh a dont think would fit. just keep it plain and simple and euro'd oot its nut
