Thought since id joined i better say hiya. Im lynette drive a diablo red 106gti just had it cammed..... Usually sit about down at asda altho i havent been down in ages. Give us a wee wave if yea c me

welcome to the forum lynette.. hope you enjoy it as it progresses, hows the car running? im getting a new jp4 engine for mines then getting it cammed chipped and remapped on top of the other mods so should be sweeeeeett..

cars runnin sweeeeetttttttt mate, gettin it rempapped within the next few weeks then lookin at kms management for it Also lookin at gettin re-spray done but its all money n id rather tune it tbh lol

Tunin is the best way like, thats how i got rid ae ma diablo 106 that needed a re-spray, i only had it 2months spent most muny fixin the god damn thing!!! axel, 2 new struts, shockies, steering rack, sensors, balljoints, arms Bloody everything!! So you could say i got robbed wen i bought it LOL

But least everythings fixed apart from the spray job!

But im glad i got my saxo like! :L

i mines is off the road the now, my pain work is immactulate so im kl there like... get a new engine and its gonna get tuned oot its c u n t..... lol got alot of money cmin and its all gettin spent on it

Aye ave hud mine a year now....spent plenty on it an that was just to get it on the road, sorted now tho - somethin ocassionaly goes on it but no much. I had a silver one before it was mint!!! sensors r shit on them tho i must admit

is ur jp4 comin out a 206 or 307?

not sure yet, doesnt make too much of a difference, the same engine, there is a jp4s model tho that comes with some 206ccs and 307 xsi... wee bit torquier as its pullin heavier car. but the jp4 has 110bhp standard but unlike gti engine has bigger cylinders,valves etc and can be remapped straight away to add some break unlike a gti engine which you really need to cam first..

its gettin cammed, chipped,remapped and a daztec management system and all my current stuff

johns gonna spend a daft amount of money on the thing and a normal tuned gti or vts will stil beat it lol

nah, cos its exactly the same engine, comes with 11o instead of 120 but has bigger valves, bigger cylinders etc.. is more torquey so will be faster.. the boy that gave me the advice to do it has one of the fastest gtis in britain, feature front cover of french performance mag with his 106 turbo

so will be alot faster than a standard gti or vts plus next to no miles on it and is cheap as dirt. its the most common modification for replacement engine throughout the full 106owners club and everyone advises on it as everything you do to tune it, it takes better than a gti because of the bigger cylinders etc... so will cost alot less than gti engine..
